Helal Barkod
Helal Barkod ("Halal Barcode") is an assistant app that helps you check product ingredients. This page explains exactly what data the app handles and where it is stored.
What data do you enter?
While using the app, you may voluntarily create records such as:
- History of products/barcodes you scan or search
- Your favorite products and personal notes
- Your preference and filter settings
Where is your data stored?
On your device only. Helal Barkod never sends any record you enter or create to a server. Your history, favorites, and notes are kept in your device's local storage (file system).
What we do not collect
- No account creation or sign-in — no information that identifies you is ever requested
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising or advertising-identifier tracking
- No third-party SDKs or tracking software
- Your data is never shared with us or anyone else, because it never reaches us
In App Store privacy-label terms: this app does not collect any data that is linked to you or used to identify you ("Data Not Collected").
Backup and deletion
From within the app you can export all your records as a JSON file (backup), and you can permanently delete all your data at any time using the in-app option. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data along with it.
Sharing with third parties
Since your data never leaves your device, there is nothing to share with any third party.

Information in the app is provided as general information to assist your own research and does not replace statements from official certification bodies. For a definitive answer, please check the official certification information on the product's packaging or contact the manufacturer.
Children's privacy
The app is designed for general use and does not knowingly collect data from children — no data leaves the device in any case.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
