PRIVACY POLICY

FitSnap

Effective: 31 July 2026

FitSnap measures your ring, shoe or waist size from a photo. Photographs of your own body are about as personal as data gets, so the design is simple: the photo is measured on your phone and never leaves it.

Your photos

When you take a measurement photo, the image is analysed on the device — the app compares your finger, foot or waist against the reference object you placed beside it (a coin or a card) to work out real-world size. The photo is not uploaded, not sent to any service, and is not kept after the measurement is taken.

Your measurements

Results are saved in the app's own storage on your phone so you can look them up later. They are not synced, not backed up to any server, and not shared. FitSnap has no account and no sign-in.

Usage and crash records

FitSnap keeps a small local record of app events and of any crash it survives. These are written to storage on the device only and are never transmitted. No analytics service, advertising network or third-party tracker is used.

Camera

Camera access is used solely to photograph the body part you are measuring. FitSnap does not request your location and does not access your photo library.

Accuracy

Measurements are estimates from image analysis and depend on lighting, focus and how the reference object is placed. FitSnap shows a range as well as a best guess. For expensive purchases, confirm the size with a physical sizer.

Deleting your data

Measurement history can be cleared from the Profile screen. Deleting the app removes everything FitSnap has stored. Because nothing is held on a server, there is no account to close and nothing to request from us.

Children

FitSnap is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
