BLOKO
BLOKO is a rune puzzle. It has no account, no server and no network code — this page is short because there is genuinely nothing to describe.
What leaves your device
Nothing. The app makes no network requests of any kind. There is no sign-in, nothing to sync and no server that could receive anything even if we wanted it to.
What it writes to your device's own storage, and the whole of it:
- your best score, your mana shards and your rank;
- which schools you have unlocked and which one is in use;
- your progress through the 99 trials — the stars earned on each one — and which chapter openings you have already seen;
- the Daily Rite: today's best score, the day it was for, your streak and your best streak;
- play statistics: games played, total score, lines, moves, best resonance, perfect clears, and how many spells and revives you have used;
- your settings — sound, music, vibration and language;
- whether you have been shown the tutorial, and the game you are in the middle of, so that closing the app does not throw a run away.
None of it identifies you, and none of it leaves the phone.
On iOS the game also keeps a copy of your progress in the app's own native storage. That is a safeguard against the system clearing the web view's storage and wiping a high score — it is still your device, and the copy is removed with the app.
Analytics and advertising
There are none. No analytics service, no advertising network, no crash reporter, no third-party SDK. Nothing counts how you play.
Purchases
BLOKO offers three optional one-time purchases through the App Store: two packs of shards (the in-game currency, which is also earned by playing) and an unlock for all seven schools. There are no subscriptions and no ads, and nothing in the game is locked behind a purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple: BLOKO never sees your payment details, and the only thing it stores is whether the unlock is owned and your shard balance, on your device. Tap Restore purchase in Schools to recover the unlock on a new device.
Permissions
BLOKO asks for nothing on first launch. It never uses your camera, microphone, contacts, location or photo library. It touches the haptic engine for the tap you feel when a spell discharges, and it can ask for one optional permission, described next.
Reminders and sharing
Daily reminder is switched off until you turn it on in Settings. Only then does iOS ask whether BLOKO may send notifications, and only then does the app schedule a single reminder for the following evening so a Daily Rite streak is not lost in silence. That reminder is created, stored and delivered entirely on your device: there is no push server, no token and nothing about you is transmitted. Turning the switch back off cancels it.
Share, on the end-of-run card, hands one line of text — your score — to the iOS share sheet. What happens after you pick an app is between you and that app; BLOKO is not told what you chose or whether you sent anything.
Neither feature changes the line above: nothing is collected, and nothing is sent to us.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything BLOKO has stored. Because none of it was ever sent anywhere, there is nothing for us to hold and nothing to request from us.
Children
BLOKO is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
